It’s a clean, safe, well-maintained, and well-managed marina, only a short walk from wonderful downtown restaurants. If you don’t have a boat, the stylish, boutique, The George Hotel overlooks the marina. The Independent restaurant at The George is one of the latest additions to the wonderful downtown restaurant scene. If you just want coffee and a pastry or bagel, Grit and Grind Bakery & Cafe is just across Front Street from the marina.

If you’ve never been to the Georgetown Wooden Boat Show, this would be a great year to go. A Southeast Tourism Society Top 20 Event, this year’s show marks the 37th year in historic Georgetown, SC.
